You’ll learn different options when you talk to Mr. House before Benny. House tells the player the different methods they can take in order to acquire the Platinum Chip from Benny.

If you talk to Mr. House before Benny
Once you enter the New Vegas strip, you’ll be accosted by Victor, the Securitron who dug you up at Goodsprings. He informs the player that Mr. House, the owner of the Strip, would like to speak with them immediately.
Should the player try to say no, Victor will insist you reconsider. He says that Benny is a snake and Mr. House is anti-venom.
If the player chooses to talk with Mr. House prior to confronting Benny, they’ll be provided with unique information.
House informs the player that Benny will be surrounded by four bodyguards. Benny is alone, however, when he’s in his private suite on the 13th floor of the Tops.
The player is suggested by House to seek out Swank, Benny’s second-in-command. If shown evidence of Benny’s crimes, he may assist the player in recovering the Platinum Chip.
Players are also given a suggestion for a peaceful approach. They can leverage Benny’s fear of exposure in order to lead him to a private place.
House advises that directly sneaking into Benny’s room would be difficult, albeit not impossible. Guards and a high-level lock on the front door are sure-fire.
If the player attacks Benny before consulting House, he’ll become angry. He tells the player the entire point of being invited to the Lucky 38 was to help prepare tactics.
So that’s the answer. You’ll learn different confrontation options when you talk to Mr. House before Benny.
